🚀 Highlights¶
Security Settings (optional): Two-Factor Authentication & Passkeys¶
This release introduces two optional security enhancements for environments using the internal authentication mechanism:
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) at tenant level
- Passkey support for passwordless authentication
These options are relevant only when users sign in with the internal authentication provided by the application.
They do not apply to environments where authentication is handled by an external SSO provider.
Passkeys
Passkeys allow secure sign-in using biometrics, such as Face ID or fingerprint authentication, or a device PIN. They can be configured directly in the ESS profile.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Administrators can require Two-Factor Authentication for all users within a tenant. Users will then automatically be guided through the setup process during login.
Shift Scenario Configurator¶
The new Shift Scenario Configurator enables automatic generation of planning scenarios for a selected time period.
Highlights - automated planning based on configurable rules - support for weekday and team-based filtering - team rotation support - optional compensation days - transparent reporting and detailed execution logs
New Features¶
ESS: Set Time Request¶
A new ESS request type called "Set Time" has been introduced.
Employees can now submit requests for specific start and end times on a selected day.
ESS User Guide¶
A new integrated user guide is now available within the ESS profile area.
The guide provides a quick overview of the most important sections:
- Work
- Schedule
- Overview
- Requests
- Profile
The user guide is optimized for both desktop and mobile devices.
Improvements¶
Enhanced ESS Registration via Bulk Actions¶
The ESS registration process has been improved.
Enhancements - automatic selection of business or private email address - improved feedback during user creation - more precise error messages when email addresses are missing
Activity Scenario Generator¶
The Activity Scenario Generator has been enhanced.
New capabilities - employee-specific limits - open time windows - automatic use of employee shift boundaries when open time limits are configured
Bug Fixes¶
ESS Team Overview¶
Fixed an internal error that could occur when an employee's only permission profile did not contain workplace permissions.
Dashboard: Training Management¶
The "Set Employee Status" dialog can now be used correctly when opened from the dashboard widget.
Operational Planning: Additional Filters¶
Additional filters now remain active after deleting entries and are no longer reset automatically.
Bulk Action: Organizational Unit¶
Changes made through the Organizational Unit bulk action are now correctly displayed in the employee change history.
Deleted Entries in Operational Planning¶
The Edit button is no longer displayed for deleted entries, preventing unnecessary internal errors.
Monthly View in Operational Planning¶
Only the selected or current month is now loaded in the monthly view.
Filter Favorites in Monthly View¶
Filter favorites with stored date ranges are now applied correctly in the monthly view.
Direct Booking in ESS¶
The Direct Booking dialog has been visually improved and the request validation text has been made easier to understand.
Filter Favorites in Dashboard Toolbar¶
An issue affecting the saving of filter favorites has been resolved.
Multiple favorites can now be created, stored, and managed reliably.
Employee Master Data: Date Attributes¶
Date attributes in the first tab of Employee Master Data can now be edited correctly again.
